Rundale Palace
The palace’s ensemble of edifices is comprised of 16 buildings spread across grounds spanning 72 ha. Historically, the palace served as the summer residence and hunting palace of the Duke of Courland Ernst Johann von Biron – favourite of the Empress of Russia Anna Ioannovna.
